Hello and welcome to my blog post Pots and Pearls! I am married to my love Gavin and have been married since November 2013! 

What I do:  I was a  first grade teacher for the past three years and this year am moving up to second grade with my same class! I love my students and I'm excited to loop.  I love waking up and going to work. I have been a teacher since 2012! I am also a MaryKay Independent Beauty Consultant. 

Weekend favorites: Gavin and I definitely try maximize our weekend time together and truly dedicate our time to family, relaxation and God. We love to be homebodies and relax by the fire, curl up to a good book and enjoy a  movie. When we like to go out we enjoy eating out and go to the movies. Spending quality time at coffee shops talking about life and sharing our dreams is also a weekly. We love our friends and we prioritize time to be with friends. We like hosting and organizing fun evenings with friends and family. 

Family time: One of our favorite things to do is fly up to Idaho and spend time at my grandparent's cabin. Any season that we are there we always have an amazing time. The beautiful creation alone is amazing enough for us to want to spend time there. One of our new favorite vacation spots is going to Florida and spending time on the beach! Grab the cooler, towels, floats and we are out in the sun all day!! The time we spend with family is what we cherish the most. It is so important for us to put this time aside to dedicate it to family. We love being together making memories and just hanging out! Pull out those card and board games, bunker down with some snacks and we are good for the whole night!
